Runza® Restaurants
raises over $45,000 for the New York Relief Efforts
LINCOLN - Nebraskans across the state helped Runza® Restaurants
raise over $45,000 for the New York Police and Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit
Fund. The fundraiser was held September 28th-30th and $1 from each Meal Deal
purchased went to the fund.
The check presentation will take place in Lincoln at Fire Station #1 (18th and Q Streets) on Monday, October 15th at 12:30pm. Lincoln Fire Chief Mike Spadt, Runza® Restaurants Board members and other civic leaders will be in attendance.
"Customers, staff and franchisees rallied together to show the importance of the benefit fund by raising so much money," said Donald Everett, Jr., President. Vice President Renee Sjulin is very pleased with the outcome and is proud of the additional support Nebraska is providing the relief effort.
