RUNZAŽ RESTAURANTS RAISES FUNDS TO PURCHASE GREAT BOOKS FOR GREAT KIDS

On Wednesday, November 5th, all 66 RunzaŽ Restaurant locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado and Kansas donated 15% of sales all day to help purchase books for children through area libraries and schools.The goal of the fundraiser, entitled Great Books for Great Kids, was to promote the importance of reading and literacy. A chain-wide total of over $20,000 was raised.
RunzaŽ Restaurants has been a long time supporter of reading and literacy as well as area schools and libraries. "Reading is vital to lifelong success and provides an excellent opportunity for families to spend time together," stated Becky Richter, Communications Manager for RunzaŽ National. "Donating funds for books and promoting literacy is an important endeavor for children and the community."

blend of ground beef, cabbage, onions and secret spices baked inside homemade
bread; made-or-order hamburgers; and onion rings - operates and franchises 66
restaurants in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Kansas.
