KEARNEY RUNZA® RESTAURANT EARNS TOP HONORS

The Kearney North Runza® Restaurant was recently awarded three of the chain's highest honors at the company's annual meeting.
The location earned first place in the "Most Improved Store Profit" and "Store of the Year" award in higher sales volume category. The awards are presented to a Runza® Restaurant location that has shown a sales increase from the previous year and an improvement in profitability. Additionally, the location must be well managed and customer service as well as food quality must be outstanding.
The location also earned the "Highest Store Evaluation Score" award. This award is presented to a Runza® Restaurant location that have had two excellent store evaluations from the previous year. Store evaluations include all aspects of the business including speed, accuracy, quality of product, cleanliness of the store as well as recruiting and training of employees. All 66 stores compete for this award. Kenny Riley is the manager of the location.
Tim Higgins, manager of the Kearney Southeast location, was awarded the Manager of the Year award in higher sales volume category. This award is given to Runza® managers who operate a clean and organized store. The recipient of the award must also be a motivational force to store employees, thus maintaining a low personnel turnover and recruiting future management candidates. Tim will enjoy an all expense paid trip for two to West Palm Beach, Florida for this honor.
