Purpose:

To promote a hands-on learning experience at a Runza^® Restaurant site for upper elementary and junior high students.

This experience promotes:

1. Teamwork
2. Personal social skills
3. Career awareness
4. Practical applications for school learning
5. Positive work ethics

Suggested Activities:

1. Introductions (student and store "buddy")
2. Training tape (counter, drive-thru)
3. Importance of customer service
4. Work stations in Drive Thru or Front Counter
   • Fill drinks
   • Greet customers, take orders, or hand out orders
   • Wash tables
   • Assemble orders on tray
   • Assist crew
